first BINDT Following a successful trial in January
this year in which about ten members of WoE and SWB branches joined a
trial event, WoE branch will host the first ever BINDT virtual meeting on 10th Feb
2010, at 19:00. Enjoy
the meeting from the comfort of your own home or office, and participate
in the conversation if you wish. Postscript About

presentation about turbine blade inspection. Kit Lane described some
spectacular 3D signal imaging of signals generated and collected by tiny
multi-element ultrasonic arrays.

Inspection This will be the second live webex virtual meeting,
hosted by the West of England branch. Click on the link https://fp4-exostar.webex.com

BAMC provides engineering facilities for
overhaul, repair, modification, test and inspection of BA's longhaul
fleet of Boeing aircraft. BAMC will give a presentation of the

Visit to
British Airways Maintenance Centre (BAMC), Cardiff Airport
Meet at the BAMC car park at 19:00 (or as directed by security staff at
the gate). Anyone intending to joint this visit must
contact Philip.Edwards
(MTD) before 11 March to allow security
clearances to be arranged, and will need to carry proof of identity
during the visit.
BAMC is located in the large hangars at the north west corner of Cardiff
airport. Head toward the airport on the A4226 from the east (or
B4265 from the west) until the Penmark roundabout. BAMC ('Aircraft
Maintenence Base') is signposted just off this roundabout via Dragonfly
